Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations7.02. Endorsement on originating process
(1) Originating process which is served out of Australia in accordance with this Order shall be endorsed with a statement showing the facts and the particular paragraph of subrule 7.01(1) relied on in support of service.
(2) If the originating process does not contain the endorsement referred to in subrule (1) at the time it is filed, the plaintiff may, in accordance with subrule (3), amend the originating process to include the endorsement.
(3) The originating process shall be taken to be amended on the filing by the plaintiff of a copy with the endorsement included.
(4) On the filing of an amended copy of the originating process under subrule (3) or at a later time the Registrar, on the request of the plaintiff, shall seal a sufficient number of copies, as amended, for service and proof of service.
