"Code" means the Uniform Code and includes appendices thereto.
"partially smooth waters" means water areas where the wave height, under normal circumstances, does not exceed 1.5 m from trough to crest.
"section", clause and "note" mean section, clause, and note of the Code.
"sheltered waters areas" means partially smooth waters and smooth waters.
"smooth waters" means water areas where the wave height, under normal conditions, does not exceed 0.5 m from trough to crest.
