MOTOR VEHICLES (STANDARDS) REGULATIONS - REG 7

Mass limit for axle or axle group

The mass carried on an axle or an axle group is not to exceed:

        (a)     the limit set by its manufacturer; or

        (b)     the limit specified in Schedule 1 for the type of axle or axle group,

whichever is the lesser.
