MOTOR VEHICLES (STANDARDS) REGULATIONS - REG 6

Mass limit for tyre

The mass carried on a tyre is not to exceed the greatest load capacity determined for the tyre by its manufacturer at a cold inflation pressure that does not exceed:

        (a)     825 kilopascals for a radial ply tyre; or

        (b)     700 kilopascals for any other tyre.
