MOTOR VEHICLE (HIRE CAR) REGULATIONS - REG 7

Registrar to be satisfied in relation to certain matters before issuing licence

The Registrar shall not grant a licence to an applicant for the licence except where he is satisfied that the applicant is:

        (a)     a person of good character; and

        (b)     a fit and proper person to hold the licence.
