Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations Northern Territory Consolidated Regulations(1) Not later than 14 days after the last day of March, June, September and December in each year, the operator for a mining site must provide to the Chief Executive Officer a production return in accordance with subregulation (2).
Maximum penalty: If the offender is a natural person – 20 penalty units.
If the offender is a body corporate – 100 penalty units.
(2) A quarterly production return is to be in a form determined by the Chief Executive Officer and is to relate to all minerals mined on the mining site during the preceding 3 months.
(3) An offence against subregulation (1) is a regulatory offence.
