Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The cancellation under section 28(1) of particulars noted in the Register has effect as if it were a valid entry made under and in accordance with the Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act .
(2) A birth certificate, marriage certificate or death certificate issued in relation to a person in relation to whom particulars are cancelled under subsection (1) (but after the particulars have been cancelled) is to specify particulars of the person's former identity.
