Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A general disposition of all or the residue of the testator's property or all or the residue of his or her property of a particular description:
(a) is a disposition of all such property over which the testator has a general power of appointment exercisable by will; and
(b) operates as an exercise of that power.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if a contrary intention appears in the will or elsewhere.
