Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) An apprehended person may, at any time after being apprehended, request a responsible officer to take the person before a Justice so the person may make an application for release from protective custody.
(2) After a request is made, a responsible officer must bring the apprehended person before a Justice without delay unless it is impracticable to do so or the person is released from protective custody under another section of this Division.
