Contracts relating to unlawful bettingA contract or agreement, whether oral or in writing, relating to unlawful betting is null and void, and no action may be brought or maintained in a court to recover money or other valuable thing alleged to have been won on an unlawful bet or deposited with a person to abide the contingency on which an unlawful bet was made.
