Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The authority may require an applicant for a licence to pay to the authority an amount not exceeding the fees or charges incurred by the authority in carrying out its investigations and inquiries under section 17 in relation to the applicant.
(2) The authority may require the applicant to make the payment referred to in subsection (1) before it grants a licence to the applicant.
(3) An amount payable under subsection (1) is recoverable as a debt due and payable by the applicant to the authority.
