Northern Territory Consolidated Acts20. Occupier commits offence
(1) An occupier of premises commits an offence if a tobacco product is displayed in or on the premises -
(a) elsewhere than at a point of sale; or
(b) in contravention of -
(i) a condition specified in this Division; or
(ii) if the Regulations prescribe a condition in substitution of a condition specified in this Division - the prescribed condition.
Penalty: If the offender is a natural person - 20 penalty units.
If the offender is a body corporate - 100 penalty units.
(2) An offence against subsection (1) is a regulatory offence.
