Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Public Trustee and his or her successors in office shall be a body corporate under the name of "Public Trustee for the Northern Territory" and shall by that name be capable of exercising all the functions of an incorporated body, have perpetual succession and a common seal, may by that name sue and be sued and may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property.
(2) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial notice of the seal of the Public Trustee affixed to any document or notice and presume that it was duly affixed.
