Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Notwithstanding that certain persons purporting to act as the Plumbers and Drainers Licensing Board at meetings held on 29 September 1989 and 30 November 1989 were not appointed as members of that Board by notice in the Gazette as required by section 7(1) of the Plumbers and Drainers Licensing Act , the actions of those persons in carrying out functions and exercising powers under that Act at those meetings, and the consequences of those actions, are declared to be, and to always have been, as valid and effectual as if the actions had been taken by the Board properly appointed.
(2) Any payments of remuneration, expenses or allowances under a determination made pursuant to the Remuneration (Statutory Bodies) Act to a person specified in subsection (1) are declared to be, and to always have been, lawfully made to the extent that the payments would have been lawfully made if that person had been a properly appointed member of the Plumbers and Drainers Licensing Board.
