MOTOR VEHICLES ACT 1949 - SECT 33K
Person may apply to give undertaking by other means(1) The Registrar may, on application by a person, dispense with the requirement that the applicant attend in person at an office of the Registrar to give an undertaking to be of good driving behaviour.
(2) The Registrar will only give the dispensation if satisfied:
(a) as to the identity of the applicant; and
(b) that in the circumstances it would be unduly onerous to require personal attendance.
