Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The owner or the master of a vessel who proposes to alter the vessel so that the certificate of survey will or may become inapplicable to its altered state shall notify the Director in writing of the proposed alterations before commencing them.
Penalty: 100 penalty units.
(2) The owner or the master of a vessel which is altered so that the certificate of survey is or may be inapplicable to the altered state of the vessel shall notify the Director of the alterations before the vessel is operated in its altered state.
Penalty: 100 penalty units.
