Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The Minister shall, when appointing persons to be members of an advisory committee, as far as is practicable, include representatives of persons or organizations interested in the matter which is being referred to it under section 19.
(2) The Minister may, when establishing, determining the powers and functions of, or appointing persons to, an advisory committee, take into account the requirements of:
(a) the Uniform Code; and
(b) any International Convention requiring consultation with organizations of ship-owners or trade unions of seamen,
in relation to any matter referred to the committee.
