Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Admission to the legal profession is admission under this Act or a corresponding law by a Supreme Court as:
(a) a lawyer; or
(b) a legal practitioner; or
(c) a barrister; or
(d) a solicitor; or
(e) a barrister and solicitor; or
(f) a solicitor and barrister.
(2) However, admission to the legal profession does not include the grant of a practising certificate under this Act or a corresponding law.
