Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The order for payment of any amount due under any recognisance or security shall direct that the amount be paid to the clerk, and the Court may further direct that the sum paid, or such portion thereof as may be just, be paid by the clerk, upon receipt thereof, to any person in whose interest the recognisance or security was taken.
(2) Subject to any direction under subsection (1) the clerk of the Court shall apply any amount paid under any order made under section 39 in the manner in which fines are applied of which no special appropriation is made.
