Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) If after being duly served with a summons the defendant fails to appear in obedience thereto, and if the matter of the information is or has been substantiated by the oath of the informant or a witness, any Justice may issue his warrant to apprehend the defendant.
(2) Notwithstanding anything herein contained any Justice may issue his warrant, before or after the time appointed in a summons, for the appearance of a defendant against whom an information for an indictable offence has been duly laid and substantiated as provided in this Act.
