INTERPRETATION ACT - SECT 62D

If a provision of an Act includes an example:

        (a)     the example is not exhaustive;

        (b)     the example does not limit or extend the meaning of the provision; and

        (c)     if the example is inconsistent with the provision, the provision prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.
