Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A person on whom a function is imposed or power conferred by or under this Act (whether by reference to an office or otherwise) may, by instrument in writing, delegate to a person or a person from time to time holding, acting in or performing the duties of a named office, designation or position any of those powers and functions, other than this power of delegation.
(4) This section does not apply to:
(a) the power to make regulations;
(b) a power related to the investigation or detection of offences or unlawful acts; or
(c) a power to delegate a power or function.
