A person of whom a requirement is made or to whom a direction is given under this Act must not, in connection with the requirement or direction, provide any information or produce a document that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular.
Penalty: If the offender is a natural person - 500 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months.
If the offender is a body corporate - 2 500 penalty units.
