Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated ActsIn any proceeding (not being a criminal proceeding), any party thereto and any person on whose behalf the proceeding is brought or defended, and the husband or wife of any such party or person respectively, shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, be competent and compellable to give evidence on behalf of either or any of the parties to the proceeding.
