Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to subsection (3), the chairperson and other members of a council appointed by the Minister, and the member of a council elected by the students of the college, are to be paid by the council in respect of their attendance at council meetings remuneration, allowances and expenses at such rates, or of such amounts, as are determined by the Minister.
(2) A determination under subsection (1) may make different provision with respect to different members of a council.
(3) Subsection (1) does not apply to a member who is an employee as defined in the Public Sector Employment and Management Act .
