Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts47. Contravention of or failure to comply with order or direction
A person who contravenes or fails to comply with an order or direction given in pursuance of this Act or the by-laws by an employee, being an order or direction for the contravention of which, or failure to comply with which no other penalty is expressly provided by this Act or the by-laws, is guilty of an offence.
Penalty: If the offender is a natural person - 100 penalty units and 1 penalty unit for each day the offence continues.
If the offender is a body corporate - 500 penalty units and 5 penalty units for each day the offence continues.
