Northern Territory Consolidated Acts25. Harbourmaster
(1) The Chief Executive Officer may, by instrument in writing, appoint an employee to be the harbourmaster.
(2) Where -
(a) the harbourmaster is, or is expected to be, absent or is unable, for any reason, to exercise his or her powers or perform his or her functions of harbourmaster; or
(b) there is a vacancy in the office of harbourmaster,
the Chief Executive Officer may, by instrument in writing, appoint an employee to act in the office of harbourmaster during his or her absence or incapacity or until the filling of the vacancy.
