Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Parts 1 and 7 shall come into operation on the day on which the Administrator's assent to this Act is declared.
(2) The remaining provisions of this Act shall come into operation on the first day after the end of the period of 12 months after the day on which the Competition Policy Reform Act 1995 of the Commonwealth received the Royal Assent, but, if the commencement of those provisions is postponed under subsection (3), they shall come into operation on the day to which their commencement has been postponed (or the later or latest of those days).
(3) The commencement of the provisions referred to in subsection (2) may be postponed from time to time by the Minister, by notice in the Gazette , but any such postponement cannot be effected after the provisions have commenced.
