Classification symbols and determined markings to be published with advertisements 89. Classification symbols and determined markings to be published with advertisements

A person commits an offence if:

(a) the person publishes a publication containing an advertisement for:

(i) a film; or

(ii) a publication classified Category 1 restricted or Category 2 restricted; or

(iii) a computer game; and

(b) the publication does not also contain a list of the classification symbols and determined markings for films, publications or computer games respectively.

Fault element: Strict liability offence.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.
