Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A trustee company may act under a power of attorney by which it is appointed attorney by a person (including a power of attorney to apply for and obtain a grant of probate or letters of administration) as attorney for that person, and all powers conferred upon it by a power of attorney may be exercised by:
(a) a director of the company or its chief executive officer orsecretary; or
(b) any other of its officers authorized in writing under the seal of the company to exercise the powers of the company as an attorney.
(2) This section does not authorize a person to confer a power upon a trustee company which cannot be legally conferred upon a natural person.
