(1) An agent shall keep or cause to be kept fully and correctly prescribed records and other prescribed documents in relation to the functions performed by him in his capacity as an agent.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
(1A) An offence against subsection (1) is a regulatory offence.
(2) An agent shall not destroy, falsify or mutilate any record or other document kept in pursuance of subsection (1) or cause or permit any such record or other document to be destroyed, falsified or mutilated within the period of 5 years after it was made or to be removed from his possession during that period.
Penalty: 100 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months.
