Subject to section 38(1), the Court may remit a matter referred to arbitration by an arbitration agreement, with such directions, if any, as it thinks fit, to the arbitrator or umpire for reconsideration or, where a new arbitrator or umpire has been appointed, to that arbitrator or umpire, for consideration.
