Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts17. Parties may obtain subpoenas
(1) The Court may, on the application of a party to an arbitration agreement, and subject to and in accordance with rules of court, issue a subpoena requiring a person to attend for examination before the arbitrator or umpire or requiring a person to attend for examination before the arbitrator or umpire and to produce to the arbitrator or umpire the document or documents specified in the subpoena.
(2) A person shall not be compelled under a subpoena issued in accordance with subsection (1) to answer a question or produce a document which that person could not be compelled to answer or produce on the trial of an action.
