Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Where a coroner believes on reasonable grounds that a person has information relevant to an investigation, the coroner may direct the person to give the information to a coroner, a coroner's clerk or a police officer.
(2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply with a lawful direction by a coroner given under subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 40 penalty units.
