Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A coroner investigating a disaster may take reasonable steps to restrict access to the place where the disaster occurred and for that purpose may cause a prescribed notice to be put up at the place.
(2) A person must not, without good reason, enter
or interfere with an area to which access is restricted under subsection (1).
Maximum penalty for an offence against this subsection:
40 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months.
