Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) The function of the coroner's clerk is to assist a coroner to exercise his or her jurisdiction.
(2) A coroner's clerk may:
(a) on behalf of a coroner, receive information about a death or disaster; and
(b) witness an affidavit; and
(c) issue a summons requiring a witness to attend an inquest to give oral evidence or to produce documents.
