Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) A person shall not bury the body of a deceased person in a cemetery contrary to the provisions of a notice under section 36.
Penalty: 2 penalty units.
(2) A person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if the person buries the body of a deceased person in accordance with an approval under the Regulations.
