BUSHFIRES ACT - SECT 19

The appointment of a person as a member:

        (a)     shall be notified in the Gazette ; and

        (b)     shall take effect on:

            (i)     the date of the instrument by which he was so appointed; or

            (ii)     if there is a later date specified in the instrument – that later date.
