Commissioner may decline complaint if no further action can be takenThe Commissioner may decline a complaint at any time if the Commissioner reasonably believes that no further action can be taken on the complaint.
Examples for section 66E
Circumstances when the Commissioner may form the belief that no further action can be taken include the following:
(a) the complainant has not cooperated with the Commissioner in relation to the complaint;
(b) the respondent has gone into liquidation;
(c) the Commissioner is unable to contact the complainant or the respondent;
(d) the complainant or the respondent has died.
