The Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory enacts as follows:

Part 1 Preliminary matters
Short title

This Act may be cited as the Statute Law Revision Act 2009.

Commencement

This Act commences on the date fixed by the Administrator by Gazette notice.

Part 2 Amendment of Acts and subordinate legislation
Amendment of Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 2004

(1) This section amends the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Control of Use) Act 2004.

Amendment of Firearms Act

(1) This section amends the Firearms Act.

(a) inspect all firearms in the holder's possession under the licence; and

(b) inspect the premises and the receptacles in which the firearms are kept.
