The Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory enacts as follows:

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Administrators Pensions Amendment Act 2006.

This Act amends the Administrators Pensions Act.

Section 3, definition of "Administrator" –

omit

After section 3 –

insert

3AA. Application of Act

(1) This Act does not apply to an Acting Administrator or future Administrator.

(2) In this section –

"current Administrator" means the Administrator holding office on the commencement of this section;

"future Administrator" means an Administrator appointed after the current Administrator ceases to hold office.
