An Act to authorise the additional issuing and expending of public moneys of
           the Territory for the financial year ending 30 June 2009

The Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory enacts as follows:


1        Short title

         This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Additional for 2008-
         2009) Act 2009.

2        Commencement

         This Act commences on the day after the day on which the
         Financial Management Amendment Act 2009 commences.

3        Authorised appropriations of public moneys

     (1) Appropriations of the public moneys of the Territory, amounting in
         aggregate to $179 965 000, are authorised to be paid from the
         Central Holding Authority to the Purposes specified in the Schedule
         for the financial year ending 30 June 2009.

     (2) Appropriations under subsection (1) are in addition to the issuing
         and expending of public moneys under the Appropriation Act 2008.
