If the superintendent of a veterinary hospital who is nominated in accordance with section 54 of the Act is or is to be absent from the hospital for more than 1 week, the licensee must ensure that arrangements are made for another veterinary surgeon to act as superintendent of the hospital during that absence.
Maximum penalty: 2 penalty units.
Note: Section 54 of the Act enables the licensee of a veterinary hospital to nominate the superintendent of the hospital.
