FIREARMS (GENERAL) REGULATION 1997 - REG 6A

Term of licence

6A Term of licence

(1) In making an application for a category A, B, C, D or H licence (other than a category D licence referred to in section 21 (2) of the Act or a probationary pistol licence) or for a firearms collector licence that is part of a composite licence as referred to in clause 84 (3), the applicant may apply for a licence that will be in force for a period of 2 years only.
(2) For the purposes of section 21 (1) of the Act, the period of 2 years is prescribed in relation to any such licence.
