A person who:
(a) is of or above the age of 10 years, and
(b) was, immediately before the repeal of the Australian Rifle Club Regulations of the Commonwealth, a member of any Australian Rifle Club formed under those Regulations,is exempt from the requirement under section 32 of the Act that an applicant for a minor’s firearms permit be of or above the age prescribed by clause 39.
