New South Wales Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) If a vessel is within 3 nautical miles of a port it is due to enter or is in a port and has on board dangerous goods, a harbour master or an officer of the Minister authorised by a harbour master may board it and:(a) examine any part of it and its cargo, and(b) inspect, and take extracts from, any books or documents relating to the cargo.
(2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, delay or obstruct a harbour master or an officer of the Minister acting under any of the powers granted him or her by or under subclause (1).Penalty: Contravention of this subclause is an offence and is punishable in accordance with clause 340.
