(1) Where proceedings are stood over generally on terms allowing a party to restore the proceedings for hearing, and the proceedings are not so restored within 6 months after they are so stood over, the proceedings shall, unless the Court otherwise orders, be deemed to have been discontinued by the applicant on the last day of that period of 6 months.
