AIR TRANSPORT REGULATION 2000 - NOTES

- Made under the Air Transport Act 1964 - As at 23 June 2006 - Reg 259 of 2000

Note:

The Regulation is to be repealed on the commencement of sec 4 of the Air Transport Amendment Act 2006 No 21 (to commence on 1.7.2006).

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Air Transport Act 1964.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to repeal and remake, without any changes in substance, the provisions of the Air Transport Regulation 1994. The new Regulation merely deals with the manner in which licence fees under section 7 of the Air Transport Act 1964 are paid.
This Regulation is made under the Air Transport Act 1964, including sections 7 and 13 (the general regulation-making power).
This Regulation relates to matters of a machinery nature.
This Regulation is made in connection with the staged repeal of statutory rules under Part 3 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.
