(1) This Act commences on a day or days to be proclaimed, except as provided by this section.
(2) The following provisions of this Act (and section 3 in its application to those provisions) are taken to have commenced at 9.00 am on the day on which the Bill for this Act was introduced into Parliament:(a) Schedule 1.1 (Amendments to the Workers Compensation Act 1987 relating to common law damages),(b) Schedule 4 [14] to the extent that it inserts clauses 9-11 of Part 18C of Schedule 6 to the Workers Compensation Act 1987 .
