New South Wales Repealed ActsThis legislation has been repealed.
If the Chief Commissioner is satisfied that:
(a) after an agreement for the sale or conveyance of property is first executed and before the property is conveyed, the consideration under the agreement is reduced by another instrument, and
(b) the reduced consideration is not less than the unencumbered value of the property to be conveyed as at the date of first execution of that other instrument,the Chief Commissioner must assess or reassess the liability of the agreement to duty in accordance with the reduced consideration.
